During my recent stay in Mykonos, my sister and I had the most wonderful day (if not a little too windy) wondering through the cute town of Mykonos. The compact seaside town is filled with little, winding alleys, stylish boutique stores and cafes. It felt like we we exploring a blue and white themed make-believe village, straight from the glossy pages of a magazine.
Our day started with a delicious breakfast at our boutique hotel, Bill and Coo. We loved how they served our food in big jars and saucepan plates.
Our view during breakfast wasn’t too shabby either.
It was about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We passed the island’s famous windmills and picturesque Little Italy, before reaching the heart of Mykonos town.
We passed a well-known gyros shop called Jimmy’s. I’m sure this is every person’s favourite food-stop at 4am after a night on the town.
And an adorable Ben & Jerry’s shop that I fell in love with. It was like a cartoon!
It’s impossible to not get lost here, which of course we did seeing as both of us have a terrible sense of direction. The place is like a maze! (Which is actually on purpose to confuse any intruders during the war). We finally found our dinner stop, a popular, rustic Greek restaurant called Niko’s Taverna.
For starters we had the most delicious, fresh mussels in a tomato and feta sauce.
Followed by baked white-fish layered with potato, spinach and tomatoes.
And we couldn’t resist ordering meatballs and fries. Yum.
Then we headed for after-dinner cocktails. This cosmopolitan was amazing! Just how they should be.
And some sweet treats at my dream store, selling little chocolate-covered nuts, muffins and trinkets. These are so cute.
We then headed back to the hotel and hopped straight in to the hot tub on our patio. Pretty much a perfect, relaxed kind of day :).
Beautiful pictures Veronica. You really get the spirit of the Island.

This is the right website for anybody who really wants to understand this
topic. You realize a whole lot its almost hard to argue with you (not that I really will need to…HaHa).
You certainly put a fresh spin on a topic that has been written about for many years.
Excellent stuff, just great!
